Nicole Donnelly, stay-at-home mom to Sara, started making BabyLegs to keep her daughter’s legs warm while still allowing for “naked baby butt time”.  It turned out that these leg warmers are great for crawling over all surfaces.  Now that Sara is a toddling around, she biffs it quite often but her knees say soft and scarless thanks to BabyLegs.

BellySock™ LLC was created from a need to solve a simple problem for moms and moms-to-be by a mom. It began on a cool November day when Deborah Grover  was pregnant and craving the opportunity to wear her favorite winter sweater. Unfortunately her growing belly would not allow her to do so. We all know what pregnant women do when they having a craving, they figure out a way to satisfy it. And voila, BellySock™ Maternity was born. With the aid of this simple and stretchy pregnant belly band, a non-maternity wardrobe can be worn throughout pregnancy. A few months later, with the birth of  Deborah’s daughter Ryleigh, BellySock™ Nursing was born. She wanted to be able to ditch the cumbersome blanket from her nursing routine. She also wanted to avoid spending my hard earned money on expensive nursing tops, none of which seemed to do exactly what I wanted. So Deborah modified the simple design of the BellySock™ Maternity to fit a post pregnancy body and created the BellySock™ Nursing. BellySock™ Nursing is a simple and stretchy belly tube top that slips under your shirt and conceals your belly while nursing.  It also allows you to enjoy the natural bond with your baby as you nurse.

Two simple ideas, a little ingenuity and a company was born.  A portion of BellySock™ profits are donated to prenatal and breastfeeding non-profits.
